Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operate tower crane (saddle jib type) safely and efficiently for lifting and transporting heavy materials Conduct daily pre-operational checks on the crane to ensure safe and proper functioning Follow work orders and instructions for lifting and moving materials to designated locations on the construction site Communicate with site supervisors and other workers to ensure smooth and safe operations Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or incidents Perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs when necessary Report any malfunctions or issues promptly to the maintenance team Ensure the crane is parked and stored properly after use, following all safety guidelines Maintain accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and inspections

Requirements

Citizenship

: Open to all Singapore residents (Citizens, PRs)

Certification

:

Must hold

Saddle Jib Tower Crane Operation Theory Course Certification

(provided by BCAA or an equivalent accredited course)


Additional crane operation certifications (e.g., WSQ Certificate in Crane Operations) will be an advantage

Experience

:

At least 2 years of proven experience operating a Tower Crane (Saddle Jib) in a construction environment

Skills & Attributes

:

Strong communication skills for coordination with other site workers


Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety


Ability to work in varying weather conditions


Must be physically fit and capable of working at height

Knowledge

:

Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for tower crane operation


Ability to assess and manage load safety during crane operation

Location

: Project sites across Singapore (transportation provided)

Pick-up provided

: From nearby MRT stations (location-based transport)

Work Days

: 5.5-day work week

Working Hours

:

Weekdays: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM


Weekends: 7:30 AM - 11:30 PM (if required, on a rotational basis)
