SUMMARY

Part of the trading team, you will provide trade support and analysis to assist the team at a global level. You will also coordinate with other trading team, middle office and back office for trade related matter(s).

THE ROLE

Assist with daily trade amendments to ensure trade capture and P&L is accurate.
Daily position reporting for physical and derivative positions
Assist with month-end amendments and monthly price differential reporting for exposure calculation and ensuring accurate P&L
Assist with marking internal forward price curves to ensure forward views are accurate and reflect market sentiments
Prepare weekly market update presentations for the Trading team
Conduct market research for growth areas and new country entry prospects
Analyse trade data to provide unique insights to the traders to support better decision making
Ad-hoc analysis as required by The Manager

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications required
1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience preferably gained within a commodities trading environment, audit/ advisory firm or financial institution
Good knowledge of MS Office
Meticulous, organised and accountable, able to work autonomously within strict deadlines and within policies
Ability to communicate, write effectively and to interact with a variety of company functions and external counterparties
