Job Description

(12 Months contract - Highly extendable and convertible) Morgan McKinley is working in partnership with a leading private bank to support their trade operations desk. The incumbent will be assisting the management team for recording new trade deals, export operations drawdown of loans and will be performing day-to-day functions involving transactions processing and customer interface & service. Principal Responsibilities

• Perform day to day Import, Export operations, data input, scanning, filing and any ad hoc duties.
• Achieve customer satisfaction while minimizing the occurrence of operational risks.
• Accurately check/process transactions within turnaround time.
• Attend to customer enquiries on Import/Export matters in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure adherence to Sanction compliance, AML and any local regulations.
• Contribute to creation of a high performance culture and engaged team through effective collaboration.

Skills/Attributes:

• Degree/ Diploma holder.
• Knowledge of international trade rules and guidelines, and incoterms Technical trade.
• Knowledge and familiar with international standards such as UCP 600, ISP 98, URC522.
• ISBP and URR525 latest version would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Customer oriented and a Can Do attitude.
• Capable of working effectively under pressure ad tight deadlines.
• Strong team player, systematic, analytical and meticulous.
• Good command of written and spoken English, possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
