THE ROLE
Manage and independently liaise with bankers and trade counterparts on:- LC issuance, acceptance, advising and negotiation
- monitoring of cash flows, ensuring payments & receipts on timely basis
- account opening and KYC requirements
- maintaining existing and cultivating new banking relationships
- compliance with banks\xe2\x80\x99 requirements, terms & conditions
Identify transactional risk(s) with corresponding mitigation(s) in trade structure clearly to traders and management
Maintain facility utilization report and liaise with respective business units on facility utilization and availability
Ensure trade documents and records are properly maintained to facilitate transaction review and audit purposes
Daily maintenance of trade summary records.
Periodically review and update SOPs, processes and highlight internal trade system improvement requirements.
Undertake additional functions and duties where required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Banking/ Finance or equivalent;Minimally 3-4 years of trade finance experience with bank or trading company
Proficient in handling trade-related documentation, UCP, incoterms and a good understanding of B2B and F2B trade finance structures
