Business Banking (BB) provides a suite of trade and working capital products to support companies in Singapore to manage their business needs.
As a Trade Specialist, you are to be well versed in Trade Finance and in its application on BB and Medium Enterprise (ME) client segments.
This role will report to Head of BB Product & Strategy, and work with key stakeholders across Transaction Banking, Trade Operations, Group BB, Credit Approvers, Product Managers and Sales teams to drive growth in BB\xe2\x80\x99s trade and working capital assets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies jointly with Group BB, Product Managers and Sales teams to drive new acquisitions and increase the wallet share of existing customers in their usage of trade and working capital products.
Support Sales teams on Trade Finance deals, including providing advisory to customers, structuring and right pricing of complex deals, participating in credit discussions and seeing through with deal implementations.
Increase customer adoption of the bank\xe2\x80\x99s digital trade channels through driving improvement in channel capabilities and educating Sales teams and Customer Contact Centre/ Client Services Group to enhance their ability to resolve clients\xe2\x80\x99 issues.
Educate Sales teams on the bank\xe2\x80\x99s latest trade capabilities, market developments and identification of new sales opportunities.
Ensure product adherence to Compliance, Operational, Business and Fraud risk procedures and other internal & external regulations.

Our Ideal Candidate
6+ years of experience in Banking Industry.
Experience in managing trade deals related roles in BB and ME client segments.
A team player, eager to support and learn, and can foster collaborative working relationships across the organization
Demonstrate strong experience in Trade Finance solutions
Strong understanding of relevant trade management systems within the Bank, especially the Straight2Bank system
Adequate knowledge of client documentation.
Strong communication skills
Well versed with local banking rules, regulations and UCP guidelines.
