Trade Operations Engineer - Global Quant Trading Firm - Singapore - Relocation Support

A leading global quantitative proprietary trading firm is looking for a Trade Operations Engineer to join its Singapore office.


This is a high-impact role within the Trade Operations team, managing live trading systems and real-time risk, while also contributing to software deployments and smaller code updates.


You'll be at the intersection of operations and development, keeping mission-critical systems running in a truly global trading environment.

What you'll do

Monitor and manage live production trading systems, ensuring stability and risk control. Triage incidents under pressure with precision and low error tolerance. Contribute to software deployments, application configuration, and system updates. Write bug fixes and smaller-scale C++ code changes in a complex global environment. Collaborate with developers, traders, and engineers to maintain seamless operations. Provide flexible coverage across trading hours as part of a global support team.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Strong C++ skills Proficiency in Linux with interest in trading systems and financial markets. Analytical problem-solver with ability to handle time-sensitive triage. Collaborative, low-ego, and adaptable to fast-paced environments. Bonus: Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, or other workflow tools.
