SUMMARY
Be part of the Freight Trading team, you will provide trade support and analysis to assist the team at a global level. You will coordinate with other trading team, middle office and back office for trade related matter(s).THE ROLE
You will assist in the following task on a daily basis:- Manage charterparty database / contract signing
- Trade amendments to ensure trade capture and P&L is accurate
- Position reporting including both physical and derivative positions
Marking internal forward price curves to ensure forward views are accurate and reflect market sentiments
Prepare the weekly market workflow reports; i.e. rightship / outstanding
Conduct market research for growth areas and new country entry prospects
Analyse trade data to provide unique insights to the traders to support better decision making
Ad-hoc analysis as required by Manager / wider business
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications required1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with a commodity trading environment, audit/ advisory firm or financial institution
Good knowledge of MS Office; an interest in building models possibly coding outside excel an advantage
Able to work well as part of a team and with other functions
