Job Purpose and Impact

We seek a Trading Assistant to help manage a cross-commodity volatility portfolio for Cargill Risk Management desk in Singapore. In this role, you will be expected to develop, implement and execute trading strategies to manage market price risks. Key Accountabilities

Assist the Trader to develop and execute trading strategies and help manage the overall portfolio greeks.

Execute trading desk decisions and work with external and internal stakeholders, including agents as needed.

Use quantitative and statistical analysis to monitor trading positions and exposures.

Work on projects ranging from in-depth fundamental analysis to run price/volatility algorithms.

Maintain commodity balance sheets; develop new market intelligence capabilities for APAC markets.

Generate ad-hoc and daily reports for monitoring markets and portfolio performance. Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent work experience as well as understanding of programming languages

Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in Agriculture/Petchem/ Metals/ Energy/Financial/FX background.

Basic understanding of options/futures

Derivatives (Futures & Options) trading experience is preferable

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with hedging and positioning strategies across financial or physical assets

Experience in executing and placing orders across diverse financial exchange markets

Experience in formulating a trading view via fundamental analysis and articulating it to various stakeholders

Experience in P&L generation through trading commodity books or positioning around customer flow
