Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and control a team of drivers and/or operators and fleet maintenance and serviceability/availability- Interface with external customers
- Update customer on job status
- Provide excellent Customer Service
- Ensure that jobs are completed for invoicing & driver commissions.
- Plan job activities for Container Operations in accordance with job instructions and fleet utilization/availability patterns
- Co-ordinate activities between stakeholders viz Container Shipping Operations, Other Dispatchers & other BSL Inter Depts etc
- Provide statistical data where required
- Any other activities as assigned by HOD
- Identify risk factors that impact efficiency and safety of transport execution.
- Plan effective incident / crisis management initiatives
- Track and monitor the daily delivery performance of the fleet
- Plan and accept jobs to ensure drivers and jobs are at it\xe2\x80\x99s maximum
Qualifications and Requirements
- Conversant in English
- Knowledge of Malay/Mandarin advantageous
- Competent IT skills
- Good planning/MS Office skills
- Good interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal
5.25 Working days per week in an air-conditioned office
