TRAFFIC CONTROLLER
This role is part of LABGISTICS Asia Pte Ltd's (LABG) Logistics department within the Commercial Support Services Division. The incumbent will be responsible for managing daily transportation operations and ensuring that all activities are completed on schedule.The Transport Controller is expected to lead and supervise a team of transport operation staff and work with internal and external stakeholders to implement processes and technology improvements.
The Successful Candidate will report to the Head of Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage resources to ensure transportation operation activities and schedules are met.
- Handle customer requests and feedback effectively.
- Manage transport activities to fulfil customers delivery requirement.
- Provide real-time updates on job progress into the system.
- Monitor transport and delivery status to optimize resources.
- Deploy Drivers to perform transportation job.
- Responsible to ensure that all customer deliveries and requirements are fulfilled.
- Liaise with the workshop on vehicle repair / routine servicing.
- Perform additional ad-hoc tasks/projects as required.
- Monitors Proof of Delivery return and updating to Finance.
- Any other duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Candidate with at least a N/ O Level, Professional Certificate/NiTEC, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Logistics/Transportation or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in traffic controlling in a 3PL setup.
- Able to multitask and handle fast paced environment.
