Teach adults with Down syndrome in DSA approved training and education programmes. 2. Plan the Individualised Training Plan (ITP) with the Head (ILTC) and Assistant Director (Services), other relevant professionals and caregivers. 3. Implement community referenced training to ensure that the client achieves the community goals as planned. 4. Monitor ITP to ensure the client is achieving the educational, community, vocational and behavioural goals as scheduled. 5. Conduct evaluations of the ITP and submit reports to the Head (ILTC) and Assistant Director (Services) for purposes of review of training plans. 6. Develop strategies to enhance the pre-vocational or vocational skills of the clients. Support and provide training in social enterprise and employment opportunities. 7. Organise and coordinate training for peers and professionals working with adults with Down syndrome. 8. Participate in the development and implementation of DSA education and training programmes and support services. 9. Advise parents of adults with Down syndrome on matters relating to education and training. 10. Provide administrative support to the Head (ILTC) and Assistant Director (Services) and assist with the monthly accounts and management reports. 11. Assist in organising public education and awareness programmes such as seminars, workshops and talks. 12. Attend committee meetings and taking of minutes of meetings. 13. Undertake any other duties as assigned by DSA. Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies: NITEC in Community Care Social Services, Diploma in Disability discipline, GCE N level or equivalent. Technically skilled and competent. Core Competencies: Good interpersonal and communication skills. Good computer literacy skills advantageous.
