Job Description


About The Role 1. To provide high quality of daily training, supervision and ensures the well-being of persons with Down syndrome.
2. To supervise, expose and train clients in areas of independent living skills, leisure and recreational, career advancement and to monitor their progress.
3. To plan, monitor and review the Person Centered Plan under their care.
4. To ensure that clients keep their living environment and laundry clean and tidy.
5. To assist in family work under the supervision of Head of Program
6. To coordinate in one or more of the following areas for clients in the program: Team Building, Medical and Health, Volunteer, Arts, Performing Arts, Sports, Events and Activities.
7. Reports to Head of Program and HOD (Services).
8. Required to work in either morning or evening shifts.

Candidate Requirements Technical Competencies: NITEC in Community Care ; Social Services, Diploma in Disability discipline, GCE N level or equivalent.
Technically skilled and competent.

Core Competencies: Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good computer literacy skills advantageous.

Preferred achievements / characteristics: Social service industry background advantageous
