We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of ‘SG Trading Middle Office Analyst’ with particular focus on supporting SG Trading desk, and liaising with various business and stakeholders including representatives from Markets Front Office, Regulatory Reform, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology.
The candidate is responsible for trade capture on life-cycle for range of products such as FX, FX option, Interest Rate swap, structured rates and credit related products as well as Compression, implementing control and reviewing trade exceptions, manage query remediation, and regulatory trade reporting.
Key Responsibilities
In-depth cross coverage on FX, FX Option, Interest Rate Swap, Structured Rate and credit related product
Supporting trade flow and interaction with Business, Vendor and exchanges globally to manage post execution issues for related products
Ensure to perform control functions based on booking and intermediary processing systems and records
Ensure to complete daily BAU task lists and attest the middle office dashboard
Drive STP efforts in post execution trade cycles across products
Directly interacting with the Firm’s clients on related post trade queries and issues
Interact with internal stakeholders – Legal, Compliance, Sales and Trading teams
Interact closely with Global Middle Office, Operations and Technologies on systematic, trade queries, confirmations and settlements
Frequent communication with external brokers and clients
Flexibility to work on Public holidays and willingness to cross train across different middle office desks/products
Risk and controls performance metrics for adherence
Ensure the desk is in compliant with internal and external regulations at all times
Requirements
relevant working experience in trade support or capital markets operations
relevant product processing experience and Treasury Markets experience
Awareness of key middle office risks & controls and operational cycles
Understanding of front to back process and systems flows
Ability to multi-task and work seamlessly with various stake holders
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines and work in fast paced environment
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Attention to detail and good problem solving skills
Understanding of trade allocation and confirmation processes, including trade discrepancy solution
Ability to network and interact across Global Middle Office and Operations
eDealer, Bloomberg, Reuters, Markitwire, Trioptima, relevant system experience is a plus
Fast learner with the ability to think out of the box and provide solutions
Relevant Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience preferred
