Position Description

Service Market Logistics (SML) is part of Group Trucks Operation (GTO) within Volvo Group. Every day, we are delivering world class operational excellence for our customers, based on smart logistics solutions. Our job is to develop, manage and optimise the Service Market supply chain for all Volvo Group brands and JV\'s. The Transport Analyst has the responsibility of supporting the organisation\'s journey in transport digitalisation, process automation and controlling freight spend. This position will report to the Order & Shipping Manager.

MAIN ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process Automation & Digitalisation

• Implement the relevant technologies to automate processes within the Order & Shipping (O&S) team
• Identify and execute transport flow digitalisation initiatives
• Create and maintain the relevant digital dashboards for reporting or analysing purposes
• Work together with the O&S team members to set a new way of working
• Document SOPs
• Align with Key User/O&S APAC network on local initiatives
• Freight Cost Follow-Up & Analysis

• Proactively conduct freight spend/cost analysis, trend analysis, and similar to monitor performance and identify improvement potentials
• Drive improvement activities connected to transportation spending, quality, and network set-up
• Full backup role for Transport Analyst
• Logistics Service Provider (LSP) Management

• Follow up on the agreed process performance indicators for the appointed distribution flow and to analyse the root cause of deviations and initiate corrective actions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Business / Data Analytics or similar or equivalent work experience
• Highly skilled and knowledgeable in process automation and digital tools
• Good knowledge of warehouse and transport operational processes
• Able to lead project teams when necessary
• Able to work independently and in teams
• Good communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams
