What the role is:The Singapore Police Force (SPF) plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As Transport Officer (Transport Office and Case Exhibit Store) in CID, you play an important role in managing and maintaining CID\'s vehicle fleet, as well as managing the registration, storage and disposal of case exhibits, keeping track of vehicle exhibits. You will also provide other logistical support for the whole of CID. If you are meticulous and take pride in ensuring smooth running of operational vehicle and storage facilities, we welcome you to be part of our team at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).What you will be working on:The Transport Office maintains CID\'s vehicle fleet to ensure operational readiness of the vehicles used in CID operations. You will assist in the Case Exhibit Store to ensure that case exhibits are registered and stored properly to preserve the chain of evidence. You will report to Head Corporate Services (Head CS) and will be responsible for managing CID\'s vehicle fleet, keeping track of vehicle exhibits and other case exhibits for the whole of CID, including the registration, tracking of movements, storage and disposal of case exhibits.What we are looking for:

• Good communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good organizational skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Meticulous in planning, documentation and audit. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in the English language. \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficient in MS Office and possess basic computer knowledge for day-to-day written communications. Basic computer knowledge is also required to operate the inventory systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prior experience in the logistics industry may be helpful.
