Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the transport team, drivers, and supply team, promoting a positive work environment and develop staff performance matrix to set performance expectations and goals
• Oversee the scheduling, dispatch, and routing of the transportation fleet to optimize delivery times and reduce fuel costs, maintaining fuel consumption and CO2 emissions record
• Monitor fleet utilization and recommend adjustments to maximize efficiency and analyze routes and delivery patterns to identify issue and opportunities for planning improvement
• Manage the transportation budget, focusing on cost control and report on transportation expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and labor costs
• Collaborate with customer service team to address any delivery issues and ensure transport team met customer requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Establish KPIs for transport operations, including delivery times, on-time performance, fuel efficiency, and staff performance and analyze performance metrics, preparing regular reports to top management

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Maritime or equivalent
• Needs to manage more than 30 transport vehicles or trucks.
• Experience with marine equipment or lubricating oil is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of Supervisory experience in Transportation / Fleet / Logistics Operations
• Proficient in transport management software (e.g. HMS, TMS, GPS tracking) and MS Office Suite
