Review, register, and assess travel insurance claims (e.g., trip cancellations, medical emergencies abroad, lost baggage, delays).
Evaluate supporting documents such as medical reports, police reports, receipts, and travel itineraries.
Conduct investigations into complex claims, including fraud detection and recovery actions where necessary.
Liaise with policyholders, travel providers, medical facilities, and third-party administrators to validate information and process claims efficiently.
Make settlement recommendations and ensure claims decisions are consistent with policy wordings, underwriting guidelines, and service standards.
Maintain accurate and detailed records in claims management systems.
Provide clear communication to customers regarding claim status, decisions, and next steps.
Support continuous improvement by identifying trends, process gaps, and suggesting enhancements in travel claims handling.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and internal claims policies.
