Handle business travel requests, including air, hotel, car and rail. Flight bookings will range from simple point-to-point to complex multi-cities.
Ensure that reservations are aligned with the Client\xe2\x80\x99s travel policy and be proactive in optimising the Client\xe2\x80\x99s travel spend.
Provide insightful travel advisory.
Handle any amendments, cancellations, schedule changes and disruptions, communicating the implication of each change to the Client in a professional manner.
Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing.
Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with the Client.
Required Skills and Competencies
Possess knowledge of fares and ticketing. Able to analyse fares and routing alternatives to present the best options to the Client.
Experience making flight reservations using Sabre.
Knowledge of other travel products including hotels, car transfer and rail would be a bonus.
Good geographical and fare knowledge.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Positive team player with good communications skills.
