Job Description


MAIN PURPOSE

Shiseido Travel Retail is a fast-growing organization, focusing on distribution within Duty-Free Zones (Airports, Downtown Stores, and Flights). A part of the Shiseido Group, Shiseido Travel Retail holds a range of luxury and premium brands across the Skincare, Cosmetics, and Fragrance (Shiseido, Cle de Peau Beaut\xc3\xa9, Nars, The Ginza Brand, Anessa, IPSA, Elixir, Drunk Elephant, Serge Lutens, and Designer Fragrances Brands).

The Retail Manager supports the Travel Retail accounts within Korea with the aim to maximize sales productivity, gain market share and grow the region\'s business via agent engagement. He/she is responsible for the sell-out of each account, manages daily operation (with internal / external stakeholders i.e Agent), leading and driving action that aims at delivering a best-in-industry retail experience for our consumers and customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for retail sales figures (Sell-out) for respective travel retail accounts. Your duties include:

  • With guidance from Area Sales Manager, execute the defined long-term strategy to expand Travel Retail market share in Korea.
  • In charge of sales results analysis (SO/SI), product assortments, product mix for respective retailers to achieve retail sales target, recommending and anticipate potential gaps, shortfall or opportunity.
  • Leverage data and information to formulate and execute interventions to mitigate.
  • Plan and implement suitable incentive and push out plans to boost sales.
  • Involve in the negotiation of terms and brands\' placement with management team.
  • Keep abreast of the competitor\'s performance, promotional mechanics and provide feedback or make recommendations to boost sales.
  • Monitor stock level, forecast and managing communication with respective stakeholders to resolve issues or to ensure alignment.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal stakeholders to meet the needs of the retailers and to ensure the smooth running of the accounts.
  • Participate in pricing strategy for each account in line with brand cum retailer guidelines.
  • Partner with respective stakeholders to build capabilities of Beauty Consultants (BCs) through agent support and to encourage/uphold high participation rate in training.
  • Partnering with Agent to provide coaching and feedback to BCs to ensure that they are an Ambassador of the Brand they represent and continue to drive Retail Excellence.
  • Provide administrative support, not limited to PO management, data management, pricing information/validation, POSM ordering/management, uniform distribution, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A recognized university degree.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience. Experience in sales operations or retail store management will be an added advantage.
  • A self-starter.
  • Analytical and proven experience in operating effectively under ambiguity.
  • Able to prioritize and multi-tasks in a in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Hands-on organizational skills and meticulous.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A good team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions/levels.
  • Proven experience in managing diverse stakeholders and have experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Travelling is required (approximately 30-40%).
