Treasury & Trade Finance Intern

Job Description
This internship role will introduce the individual to the basic concepts of treasury and trade finance while providing valuable exposure to the energy trading sector.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and execute daily cash requirements
- Track and verify trade clearing and settlement process
- Assist in the preparation of cashflow forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of trade finance documentation
- Arrange Know-Your Client (“KYC”) documents and key presentation material for banking partners
- Liaise with banking partners for treasury and trade finance matters
- Coordinate with trading and operations team to support trade flows
Pre-requisites and /or Preferred Course Discipline :
- Diploma/Degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy or Economics
- Proficient with MS Office
- Good communication skills and sharp eye for detail
- Team player and a positive attitude
Intern will gain/learn :
- Attain strong understanding of treasury function and trade finance instruments
- Valuable experience in working with banking partners
- Good exposure to the international energy trading industry
- Sharpen business communication and documentation skills
