We’re looking for a highly driven individual to support the Group’s treasury function. Based in Singapore or Malaysia, and reporting to the CFO and VP Finance, you will be exposed to wide range of experiences and an exciting learning journey.

What you will be doing:


  • Initiate, manage and enhance the Group's banking relationships. Facilitate bank onboarding, periodic reviews. Review and negotiate commercial documentation with banks.
  • Provide Management with regular updates and advice on FX, liquidity, and interest rates.
  • Implement Group Treasury policies and propose improvements to existing processes, where relevant. Ensure group-wide compliance to Group Treasury policies.
  • Assess overall risk around cash management, procure to pay, and order to cash processes. Develop frameworks and enhance processes to mitigate risk and optimize efficiency.
  • Manage working capital requirements of operating units while optimising gross debt levels and minimising borrowing costs. Ensure compliance to debt covenants
  • Manage foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments.
  • Work closely with tax on international cash movements.
  • Maximise returns from surplus cash at bank.
  • Monitor and manage Group cash flow and forecast short to medium-term funding requirements.


Requirements


What you will need:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in finance, accountancy or equivalent, with at least 6 – 8 years of working experience in a corporate treasury or relevant banking role. Candidates with CPA or CFA qualifications have an advantage.
  • Candidates with existing relationship and significant exposure with major banks would have an advantage.
  • High level understanding of tax issues in major ASEAN markets in relation to treasury activities
  • This role requires regular interaction with country ops and finance teams around the ASEAN region. Candidates should be comfortable with autonomous / remote working arrangements.
  • Excellent time management and organisational ability. Team player with the ability to communicate and coordinate with multiple parties.
  • Attention to detail, strong communication skills, written & verbal with an excellent command of the English language.
  • Independent self-starter with a penchant for problem-solving with a structured approach to scoping and crafting detailed solutions to these problems.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Suite and G Suite. Familiarity with Netsuite ERP, and financial data software (such as CapIQ/Bloomberg), would be an advantage.
