Red Shield Industries (RSI) is the social enterprise arm of The Salvation Army. By re-using, recycling and restoring donations in kind from the public and corporations, it generates income through its Family Stores to support our mission to provide holistic care to the community. RSI is also committed to providing work-therapy job opportunities. Partnering with the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), RSI opened its door for IMH\'s clients to work at the RSI Pick n Choose Store. This opportunity increases the clients\' confidence, which helps in easing their way back into society and facilities their reintegration into the workforce. RSI also strives to assist humanitarian needs in times of crisis and emergency, leveraging on its logistics network to deliever aid to crisis areas in the region quickly and efficiently. DESIGNATION : Truck Driver

RESPONSIBILITIES
About the Job The Truck Driver will lead to collect and deliver donated items to designated sites with established quality, environment and safety practices.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform a specialised driver role in carrying out assigned tasks by Supervisor
• Accept physical work by loading/unloading all donors\' items at designated sites and/or delivery of items to Family Thrift Stores/Centres
• Assist in clearing the donation bins at different locations when assigned
• Maintain daily vehicle check, cleaniness, road worthiness and update necessary checklists, records

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess Class 3 Singapore driving licence
• Familiar with Singapore roads
• Have to be ability to do physical labour for extended periods (weight handling up to 20kg)
• Able to speak and write simple English

Working Hours 5.5 days / 44 hours per week Monday to Sunday including Public Holidays 10am to 7pm / according to roster
