Job Description

Responsibilities:

• In-charge of planning, overseeing the TBM assembly, TBM testing and commissioning, SAT and TBM dismantling.
• Supervise E&M works on site (tunnel) & responsible for site coordination with client, consultants and specialist E&M subcontractors
• Management, plan and monitor for the entire TBM related E&M works.
• Coordinates with TBM manufacturer any technical issues and spare parts requirements, including disc cutters, other consumables and auxiliary plants.
• Assist Tunnel Manager on all E&M work.
• Liaise with LTA throughout all phases of the project to ensure works progressing in line with spec & program
• Install and maintain the EPB TBM and all mechanical and electrical plants and equipment and other related facilities.
• Procurement planning and management vendors to supply the TBM spare parts, materials and equipment in time
• Providing technical advice and handle issues.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on experience in managing bored tunnelling M&E works of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
• Experienced in Handling Overseas TBM
• Experienced in handling of EPB TBM and auxiliary plants and equipment such as gantry crane, passenger hoist, grout plant, compressor plant, chiller, cooling tower, water treatment plant, etc.
• Preferred to have extensive experience in operation & maintenance of various TBM guidance system and data acquisition system (Robotec, ENZAN, VMT, etc.) and various backfill grout plant and system integrated to TBM.
