Job Summary Tutor is responsible for monitoring the academic schedule and compliance areas of Edufront Learning Pte Ltd. Responsibilities will include classroom teaching, classwork and assessment. The deliverables of the teaching must be required in accordance with the policies and guidelines set forth by the organisation. Key Responsibilities Tutors should be able to commit to Edufront's academic calendar and semestral lesson structure when planning for the assigned classes' lesson plan. Lessons must be interesting, engaging and relevant. This includes the use of multimedia presentations and videos. Adequate balance between classroom teaching, classwork and assessment. Tutors shall undertake differentiated teaching to cater to students of different ability levels. Tutors have flexibility to use their own teaching tools and materials (e.g., videos, ppt slides) to enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Teaching must be adequately done prior to giving out any classwork. Tutors must actively monitor the work of all students throughout the lesson (e.g., the tutor shall not sit behind the tutor's desks for a prolonged period of time without actively moving around the class to monitor the students). Tutors are to mark all class work given to students during the lesson and given back on the same day if possible. Otherwise, it must be marked and returned by the following lesson. Tutors are required to mark all students' attendance and indicate the student's absence in the attendance file. Qualifications Degree/Diploma/PGDE in Education (NIE/NTU). Passionate university graduates with no NIE qualifications are welcome to apply. Training will be provided. Able to commit for the entire academic year (November 2023). Able to commit to the regular weekly tuition schedules - weekday evenings/weekends. Remuneration $21-$50/ hour - depending on no. of students & level of programme. Immediate vacancies available.
