Firmware Engineering Intern position available for Jan 2024. Candidate will work under the supervision of experience engineers as a team executing the tasks assigned. The team is responsible for end-to-end electronics hardware development with specific focus on circuit design, circuit level testing, integration/testing of all hardware within product and ensuring that compliance requirements are met. The technology team works closely with Electrical engineers to ensure product meets specifications and schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

1. Provide support to the Firmware Engineers in programming tasks such as engineering analysis and test, and support of proof-of-concept or system testing.

2. Utilize frameworks like STM32 HAL/LL and FreeRTOS.

3. Undertake writing, debugging, optimizing, testing, porting, and documenting embedded codes.

4. Define, develop, and implement Firmware and Firmware validation test plans and test content with deep comprehension of Firmware algorithms and product specifications.

5. Bring up of newly designed PCB boards and sensors.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Maintain a minimum of a 3.0 out of 4.0 overall grade point average.

2. Candidate must be pursuing Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science.

3. Experience with C/C++ or python.

4. Intern with experience in bare metal programming of ARM 32-bit microcontrollers are preferred.

5. Ability to work and thrive in a team environment.

6. Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.

7. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
