Support After-School Engagement (ASE) programmes for identified high needs students. This includes, but is not limited to:
a. Academic Support Programmeb. Mentoring Programmesc. Interest-based Experiential Elective Programmes
Engage the students during their recess, lunch and after-school hours daily through mentoring and free play to build rapport.
Work with form teachers and subject teachers closely to understand the students\xe2\x80\x99 profile and needs.
Monitor students\xe2\x80\x99 attendance in the ASE programmes and document observations as feedback for teachers.
Provide academic support as part of re-integration for students returning to school after long term absences.
Plan for and carry out activities during the school holidays (March, June, September and November/December) to engage the high needs students.
Other duties
a. Any other duties as assigned by School Leaders, HOD Student Development, SH Student Well-Being orAdministration Manager.b. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the classrooms and facilities used for ASE programmes.Work Schedule:
Salary: up to 2700 - 2800 per month
Contract Period: 1 Jan 2025 to 31 Dec 2025
Location: Woodlands
Working hours: Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 5.30pm)
*Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays*Job Requirement:
Should preferably have Diploma in Counselling, Social Work or its equivalent
Should preferably have 2 years of experience working with children in primary schools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passion and disposition to work with at-risk students
Empathy for students with social, emotional and mental health difficulties
Possess good working attitude and be willing to learn, not afraid to take up new challenges
