Job Description

Main Responsibilities

• Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained and that the dining experience exceeds guest expectations.
• Manage and train front-of-house staff, including hosting, waiting, and bar staff.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and professionalism.
• Assist in managing inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
• Help plan and execute special events and private functions.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Contribute to menu development and wine selection in collaboration with the culinary team.
• Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the dining area and workspaces.

Qualification

• Min 5 years of experiences as Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a high-end or fine dining restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of best practices in service excellence and hospitality.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems.
• A passion for food and wine, with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
