Job Description
The client is establishing a 300mm semiconductor wafer manufacturing facility in Singapore. Below position is open urgently.
Position:
Associate Engineer (Process/Equipment)
Location: East Singapore
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working Pattern: 12-hour Rotating Shift
Role Summary:
This role will be part of the operations team, ensuring smooth wafer fabrication processes across modules such as
Dry/Wet Etch, Photolithography, Diffusion, CMP, CVD, or PVD
.You will play a key role in driving
equipment performance, uptime, and process stability
, supporting continuous improvement in a highly dynamic wafer fab environment.Responsibilities:
Ensure
equipment uptime, productivity, and continuous improvement (CIP)
. Performpreventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repair
to sustain production line stability. Managespare parts and maintenance planning
to ensure operational readiness. Work closely with Engineers toanalyze issues and implement corrective actions
. Drive initiatives toimprove machine performance and enhance equipment capability
. Comply withcleanroom protocols
and safety regulations while working in a controlled environment.Requirements:
Diploma or ITE
in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials, or other Engineering-related disciplines. Minimum3 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fab
as an Associate Engineer (process or equipment). Prior experience in a12-inch (300mm) wafer fab
is an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in afast-paced environment
. Willingness to workrotating shifts including night shifts
. Aself-starter with a positive attitude
