Job Description

$6K + AWS + VB + allowance

5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours

Location: East

Responsibilities

• Management of lab quality system to ensure compliance to the accreditation standards (ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO17025)
• Conduct the method development for new / modified analysis to ensure conformity to quality system requirements - method suitability, method validation, uncertainty estimation, and overall measurement traceability
• Lead the laboratory preparation for internal & external audits, ISO accreditation, and proficiency testing (PT) checks
• Management of laboratory inventory and equipment to ensure quality and operation requirements are met all the time including consumables / spare-parts inventory, equipment calibration, troubleshooting , and maintenance planning
• Team up with chemist to lead a team of analysts to perform daily laboratory operations to ensure the quality system implementation and execution in the day to day operation
• Support Lab manager in engaging external customers to generate revenue and contribute to the business development of the Laboratory and interfacing the customer technical enquiries and feedback of analysis results
• Provide orientation & training to Lab analysts on quality systems, analysis methods, and equipment troubleshooting
• Identify and drive digitalization initiatives to increase laboratory operational efficiency and productivity

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry other Science and Engineering with relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an analytical laboratory testing/management environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
