Job Description

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of utility design and special systems engineers and leads
• Handle all the design interfaces between the respective Utility Design Leads and the Client / Stakeholders
• Responsible and oversee the overall utility and special system designs and interfaces for the various utility engineering designs for the Changi East Development
• Work closely with the Project Manager Utility and other design team leads in supporting the projects to achieve the project deliverables
• Supports the project (utility & special systems) operation activities including scheduling of works, construction/work sequence & contracts (technical requirements & contract packaging) of the utility and special systems
• Develop good and effective interfacing practices across the diversified and multi-culture engineering teams and environment

Requirements

• Engineering/Masters Degree from a recognized University
• Required experience:

• 20 years of engineering experience and in managing engineering design teams for the design and construction of utilities services of international airport project(s) across diversified and multi-cultural teams and environment.
• Good understand of the operations and requirements of an international airport.
• Able to integrate with team members from other countries
• Understands the diversified cultures from team members and stakeholders and possess personality to work in multi-cultural environment
• Able to work with a diversified team and teams across local and regional borders, well-organised and is able to work well in a dynamic work environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites \xe2\x80\x93 Power-point, Word, Excel. Experience in planner tools such as Microsoft Project will be an advantage
• Ability to prepare graphics & good presentations
• Good team ethics and communication skills.
• Strong writing skills, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to be an independent problem solver
• Highly motivated, proactive, enthusiastic & energetic is a must
