The Government Technology Agency (GovTech) aims to transform the delivery of Government digital services by taking an "outside-in" view, putting citizens and businesses at the heart of everything we do. We also develop the Smart Nation infrastructure and applications and facilitate collaboration with citizens and businesses to co-develop technologies.

The UX designer will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design and ensure that all elements of the user experience are optimised for improved usability, usefulness, and visual design.

What you will be working on:

• Plan and conduct user research, interviews, surveys and analysis
• Interpret data and qualitative feedback
• Create user stories, personas, and storyboards
• Create prototypes and wireframes
• Conduct usability testing
• Design and execute studies into user behaviour and attitudes
• Present and communicate insights in order to help shape long-term product strategy

What we are looking for:

• Deep knowledge and strong expertise in human-centered design, user research and product strategy
• Good communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Business know-how experience : Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate business goals and objectives into digital experiences.
• Experience working closely with engineers to deliver and evolve features.
• Experience in Agile practices, eg. facilitating backlog creation
• Degree or Diploma in Human Computer Interactions, Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related disciplines

Preferred (Additional Requirements)

• Min 4-5 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in Agile and UX development environment will be an added advantage
