Job Description

FocusCore Group is currently working with a well established reinsurance company dedicated to providing specialized and high-quality reinsurance solutions across Asia. This leading multinational company is looking for a life valuation actuary to join their regional team in Singapore.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team for supporting the valuation related projects especially for US GAAP Long Duration Targeted Improvements. This role will be highly involved in the project related to LDTI implementation and will eventually perform as a subject matter expert in US GAAP. There will also be exposure to other various corporate actuarial projects across Asia.

In order to be successful in your application, you should have at least 3+ years of relevant actuarial experience with a life insurer, reinsurer or consultancy. Good progress in international actuarial exams is preferred. Background in valuations such as US GAAP, IFRS 17, Solvency II, RBC etc will be a great advantage. Good communication and written skills in English will be required.
