Design and development of Hybrid Electric/Electric Drive Systems
Design and define Hybrid Electric/Electric Drive Topology
Size and select/design HV Drive Systems, HV Power Generation Systems and Thermal Management Systems
Define Mobility & Power Generation control strategies and fault management strategies
Work with System Engineer to define layout for respective sub-systems on platform
Utilise Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to perform analysis for Mobility Performance & Thermal Management Effectiveness
Generate Interface Design Specification, System Acceptance Test Procedure, Test Reports & Engineering Instructions
Work with external partners to explore new or maturing technologies for HV Drive Systems, HV Power Generation Systems and Thermal Management Systems for implementation
Requirements
Keen interest in Hybrid Electric/Battery Electric Powertrain & Driveline technologies
Basic competency with CAD Software such as Unigraphics and SolidWorks is a must
Knowledge in electrical and electronics is preferred
Knowledge in drafting, geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
Able to read and interpret fabrication/ mechanical/ assembly drawings
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
Strong analytical skills
Possessing a valid class 3 license is a plus
Able to work independently and effectively with peers, resourceful and keen to learn
Must be a team player with good communication skills
Willing to perform hands-on work in the workshop/on the vehicle
