Verification Engineer


Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated Verification Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and associated industrial products. This role requires technical expertise in testing, troubleshooting, and close collaboration within a multi-site Research & Development (R&D) environment.


Key Responsibilities (Field of Work)

Product Maintenance & Support: Maintain support for our existing offer of PLCs and associated products. Specification Analysis: Understand product features based on industry standard specifications. Test Planning: Understand verification test plans and test setup requirements. Test Development & Execution: Generate robust test cases, execute them, and optimize for reuse and efficiency. Quality Assurance: Perform functional and reliability tests, troubleshoot issues, and help resolve technical issues. Stakeholder Communication: Assess the impact of any new features and highlight findings to relevant stakeholders. Documentation: Review technical information intended for customer documentation for accuracy. Collaboration: Maintain close cooperation with our multi-site R&D team and System Test teams.

Work Experience

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field. 1-2 years of proven experience in the design and development of verification tests in an R&D setup.

Technical Skills

Solid understanding of industrial fieldbus protocols such as EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, Serial Line, and Modbus. Awareness of Ladder Logic or at least one of the IEC 61131-3 programming languages (e.g., Structured Text, Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, etc.).

Analytical & Troubleshooting: Strong analytical skills paired with systematic troubleshooting skills to thoroughly investigate and resolve technical and customer issues. * Communication: Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multi-cultural environment.
