Job Description


Role:(80%)

  • Support the full range of vessel accounting tasks.
  • Handle marine accounting duties, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL), while assisting in preparing vessel expense reports. This includes generating monthly and quarterly settlement reports from the system.
  • Review monthly expense invoices to ensure costs are accurately charged according to budget allocations.
  • Assist in compiling all necessary documentation for audit purposes.

  • Oversee and review procurement supplies from vessel managers.
  • Collaborate with vessel managers in contract preparations.
  • Assist in the renewal and termination processes for marine insurance.
  • Process insurance invoices and maintain accurate records.
  • Record minutes during ongoing project meetings.
  • Perform other administrative and ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Accounting or Maritime Studies (minimum).
  • At least 2 years of experience in vessel accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and meticulous.
  • A strong team player with a positive work attitude.
  • Completion of an online assessment is required prior to the interview.
