Island vets is a small animal veterinary clinic located in the west.
We are looking for passionate individuals who like caring for animals and want to make a real difference to pets.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking 2 full time
Veterinary Nurse Assistant
to support our veterinary team in delivering outstanding care. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine love of animals and an interest in veterinary nursing.Duties include:
Assisting vets and nurses during consultations and procedures Animal handling and restraint Cleaning and maintaining equipment and clinical areas Feeding and caring for inpatients Reception and administrative support as required
What We're Looking For:
A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Strong communication skills and a genuine love of animals Previous animal care experience or training (preferred but not essential) Willingness to learn and grow in a veterinary environment
