Position Purpose:
The Vice President – Branding and Public Relations will be responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of public relations/branding activities related to the strategic direction and positioning of the organization. The Vice President of public relations and branding works closely with the CMO to execute brand and PR strategy. This role reports to the CMO based in the US.
Principle Accountabilities


  • Create and implement successful branding & marketing initiatives. Plan initiatives to improve visibility & achieve the business objectives of the organization.

  • Increase the organization's presence on digital platforms, social media, & offline.

  • Increase media coverage for external communication on digital & offline platforms.

  • Conduct market research to support any required project & keep updated with the latest trends & guidelines.

  • Provide the business with concise and timely management reports on the market conditions and opportunities.

  • Lead and develop a team to implement successful brand audits, compliance & internal audits across all brand extensions and platforms with due record keeping and audit trail.

  • Monitor the performance of all marketing initiatives in ROIs, engagement, and surveys. Collaboratively share key findings with other functional heads and incorporate the findings for future strategy.

  • Oversee design & production of all aspects of visual marketing needs, including print ads, publications, and website development.

  • In close cooperation with the media agency, develop a negotiation strategy to maximize ROI on the media investments for the category.

  • Engage and respond to inbound media inquiries and requests globally.

  • Pitch and secure broadcast interview opportunities for our business.

  • Draft and prepare regional communications materials including pitch emails, press releases, statements, briefing documents, and more

  • Identify and pursue opportunities in Singapore for our executive leaders, including speaking engagements, interview opportunities, and participation in industry conferences

  • Meet regularly with stakeholders across the organization to generate new ideas and plan for long-term projects

  • Manage the receipt and submission of company awards and event opportunities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with PR agencies and media

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Marketing and branding

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in public relations, brand, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings is preferred

  • Ability to work in a multicultural team with the flexibility to work across various time zones

  • Immediate availability would be a huge advantage

  • Experience with PR platforms including Cision, Qwoted, and Telum
