Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s position as a provider of world-class wealth and personal banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a superb customer experience.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Vice President, Cross-Border Enablement, Customer Propositions.

Principal Responsibilities

Our International business spanning more than 30 countries serves clients across segments, markets and diasporas. This role is responsible for enabling business strategy that leverages our global footprint, against a backdrop of cross-border regulations. The role holder will be required to work closely with global and country level risk stewards from Compliance, Legal and Business Risk teams as well as business teams in key corridors to develop and implement high impact initiatives in a compliant and timely manner. The role holder will also be responsible for delivering a relevant and competitive proposition with remarkable customer experience to our International clients by working closely with Product, Marketing, Digital, Distribution, Finance and Analytics in global and country teams.to drive customer growth, increase product penetration, and improve business profitability via a robust customer life cycle management model.

  • Find and create opportunities within the cross-border regulatory framework
  • Develop and define the pre-onboarding, onboarding and engagement strategy for International clients
  • Enhance the service model and treatment for International clients, with specific focus on offshore clients
  • Develop and commercialize end to end client journeys for acquisition and cross-sell \xe2\x80\x93 both digital and non-digital.
  • Develop client centric bundled offerings to drive product cross-sell and client stickiness
  • Design creative Marketing and Communication strategies for the International proposition in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Remain competitive in the industry and ensure value added features and best-in-class client experience
  • Ensure compliance to prevailing cross-border guidelines for all central direct-to-client communications
  • Analyse the client portfolios for International business and design segmentation strategy to deliver propositions optimally
  • Regularly collaborate with senior stakeholders at country and global levels, including senior risk stewards from Compliance, Legal and Business Risk teams to enable global positioning of HSBC Singapore as an International Wealth Hub
Requirements
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in retail banking with client segment strategy / propositions / product management
  • Sound understanding of cross-border regulations within the banking industry
  • Good understanding of segments (mass affluent, affluent, emerging affluent etc.) and personas (investors, expats, international students etc.)
  • Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders across global / regional / country teams
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong understanding of International business landscapes, business trends, technology and digital trends
  • Strong and resourceful problem solver who can manage issues including project related defects working with the various partners
