Job Description

Our client in the Real Estate Industry is looking for a Vice President, Finance to join the team!

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month end closing, intercompany, bank and accounts reconciliations and audit schedules in accordance with group closing timeline and SOP
• Ensure timely and quality delivery of monthly management reporting deliverables to Group for both group consolidation and senior management update purposes
• Support quarterly external investor reporting and distributions as well as ad-hoc investors queries
• Responsible and collaborate closely with onshore finance team to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation
• Ensuring compliance with internal controls and group policies/SOPs/DOA for proper corporate governance and also to safeguard the interests of the Company
• Ensure timely and quality preparation of full set of financial statements for group consolidation, statutory and fund audit reporting, including liaising with auditors.
• Manages the local tax filing process, including preparation of tax computations, and liaising with Group Tax and/or external tax consultants on both compliance matters and ad-hoc queries
• Liaise with Group Treasury on cash management and treasury matters where applicable
• Ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with a Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant accounting and / or audit experience with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• Possess prior experience in Real Estate Industry and proficient in SAP.
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
