Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide guidance to Finance team to ensure financial reports are delivered according to Group\xe2\x80\x99s financial guidelines and timelines
• Business partnering with Finance Shared Service, Operations teams and stakeholders to provide advice on financial reporting and planning activities
• Review monthly closing of accounts, financial reports, analysis for management\xe2\x80\x99s decision making and ensure compliance with group\xe2\x80\x99s accounting policies
• Prepare and/or review sub-groups monthly analysis, reports and presentation slides
• Manage sub-groups\xe2\x80\x99 annual budgeting and ad hoc forecasting processes
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors on reporting requirements
• Support investment and divestment activities
• Perform financial simulation or scenario planning and ongoing process improvements
• Propose improvements to existing processes and procedures to increase team\xe2\x80\x99s effectiveness and efficiency
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 15 years of relevant working experience, of which at least 5 years in supervisory capacity
• Good understanding of Singapore financial reporting standards and local tax rules
• Experience in the real estate industry is preferred
• Ability to work independently and effectively deliver under tight timelines
• Excellent team worker with strong communication, analytical, people-management and organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (such as Excel and Powerpoint) and familiarity with IBM Cognos Controller, SAP accounting software is an added advantage
