Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join the Finance team as Vice President - Entity Control focusing on the front-to-back trade flow including trade booking and revenue recording. Other key responsibilities include:

Month End Close

Perform day-to-day finance operations, which include recording financial transactions in the ledger and account reconciliations. Drive the timely Month End Close process including journal preparation Monitor and review accounting reports for accuracy and completeness. Reconcile and resolve any accounting discrepancies Apply professional judgement to identify accounting treatments adopted in financial statements and assess their suitability and acceptability

Financial Reporting

Oversee timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial statements and group reporting in compliance with IFRS and regional listing standards (monthly, quarterly and yearly) Ensure audit readiness and liaise with external and internal auditors Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial controls Present key financial updates and insights to senior management

Risk Management & Compliance

Ensure adherence to internal controls, risk management practices, and international financial regulations.

Operational Excellence

Drive process improvements and technology adoption to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations. Lead initiatives to integrate financial processes across the Group, ensuring consistency and scalability.

5.

Others

Participate in and co-ordinate various Finance workstreams of the Company's Tech Transformation project Participate in ad-hoc tasks/projects in support of department or Company's initiatives.

Knowledge / Experience Required:

Degree in Accountancy or Finance, Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional qualification At least 10 years of relevant experience in either Product Control, Financial Control or Financial Reporting in major banks or financial institutions Strong working knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and accounting principles Finance System transformation / Project Management experience would be desirable Familiarity with Trade booking/Finance systems including Sentry, Quantum and FIS Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Independent and confident in engaging senior management * Change and continuous improvement mindset
