Vice President, Legal & Regulatory, Regulatory & Compliance (compliance Testing)

Job Description


The candidate will be a Compliance / Internal Audit Professional and will join the Regulatory and Compliance team. The candidate will also support Internal Audit in implementing continuous monitoring and advisory activities for compliance related areas. The candidate will work closely with various teams within the organisation to develop and implement monitoring and testing processes to ensure that all business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute and maintain an affective compliance testing program that ensures adherence to relevant laws, regulations and policies
  • Utilize data analytics to continuously monitor compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  • Identify and assess regulatory risks and develop testing strategies to address identified risks
  • Ensure that test plans are designed to cover all relevant areas of risk and that testing procedures are documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders
  • Support internal audit in advisory projects and act as a domain specialist in developing automated test programs for compliance related areas
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to business units to improve compliance controls and processes
  • Report on testing results to senior management and other stakeholders, including recommendations for corrective action where necessary
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations and industry standards related to compliance and risk management
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure that all audit findings related to compliance testing are appropriately addressed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in compliance monitoring and testing, risk management or internal audit
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, analysing risks and best practices
  • Experience in utilizing data analytics for compliance testing
  • Experience developing and executing compliance testing plans and procedures
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to remain flexible and manage competing priorities under demanding deadlines
