Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Build and lead the credit team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they excel in their roles.
• Product Development: Formulate and continuously review the Lombard lending product program, including collateral LTV framework and workflow procedures.
• Credit Approval: Approve credit applications within delegated authority or provide well-reasoned recommendations for approval by the head office.
• Risk Oversight: Oversee market, liquidity, and credit risks associated with eligible collaterals against which Lombard loans are extended.
• System Management: Act as an approver/checker for system parameter updates and exception LTV assignments.
• Training and Guidance: Provide periodic training and guidance to Relationship Managers (RMs) to ensure consistent adoption of credit risk management processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in finance, economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in credit risk management within the banking sector.
• Strong knowledge of Lombard lending products, collateral LTV frameworks, and credit risk assessment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Regulatory and compliance awareness in the banking industry.
• Experience across multiple jurisdiction ie Singapore and Hong Kong would be advantageous.
