This is a key role that focuses on our investment activities in the regional market and managing the end to end investment process. The key objective of this role will be to contribute to the delivery of maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business. The successful candidate will possess superior analytical skills, commercial acumen and a high level of strategic thinking capacity. In addition, he or she is expected to have strong analytical and written (as well as verbal) presentation skills. Key Responsibilities Helping to refine investment strategy for the infrastructure fund: terms, geography, opportunity universe etc. To undertake the analyzing, originating, structuring, negotiating, recommending and when approved, closing new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in accordance to the Investment Strategy mandated by the Investment Committee. To monitor all key markets to source for suitable investment opportunities and recommend suitable investment strategies that can help to deliver superior long-term risk adjusted returns. To build and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers and other real estate market participants in the targeted key markets. To assist in generating market awareness of Keppel Capital's investment mandate. Plan and implement strategies around asset management and investment exits. Responsible for periodic reporting, including quarterly investor, annual, and bespoke reports regarding assets Benchmarking asset performance against the market to ensure that investment return targets are achieved. To provide assistance to other specialist groups within Keppel Capital when required. To provide guidance and mentoring to more junior members within the team. JOB REQUIREMENTS Relentless energy, flexibility and a gregarious personality Independent and critical thinker with exceptional analytical ability Very hands-on and detailed-orientated, willing and able to get hands dirty, strong financial modelling skills Driven and hungry for challenges At least 8 years of relevant investment experience in fund management or corporate finance/M&A in investment banks or corporate principal investment team, specialising in power, energy and/or infrastructure Exceptional eye for detail The ability to make effective investment and asset management decisions. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to communicate via Power Point, excel and orally A self-starter organized and able to learn quickly Proficient with market and industry research in infrastructure, or other private equity assets A strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skill and ability to interact well with different functions and levels. Ability to multi-task and work in fast pace dynamic environment Willing to travel frequently to the various key markets Strong academic qualifications
