Job Description
As a Video Editor at The Travel Intern, you will work closely with the creative team to ensure that the final product meets the creative vision for the project. Your main responsibilities include assembling, editing, and producing content in formats of short and long-form videos for the company\xe2\x80\x99s social channels and platforms.

Responsibilities & Expectations
1) Review and select raw footage- Identify the best shots to tell the story in the most engaging and effective way possible
- Utilise desktop video editing software to edit videos in accordance to the brief and deadlines.
- Work with digital asset banks and templates to include basic motion graphics and transitions in the video
- Do basic colouring and sound design
- Maintain an organised editing timeline to facilitate efficiency and editing across multiple video editors
- Work closely with the creative team, including directors, producers, and writers, to ensure that the final product meets the creative vision for the project.
- Create and participate in multimedia content as required, which may include talenting if suitable.
- Ensure that the final product is relevant and engaging by staying current with the latest trends in video production, including new software, techniques, and styles.
Requirements
- At least one-year working experience as a Video Editor, Video Specialist or similar roles
- Proficient in video editing software (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, Premiere Pro, After Effects Photoshop, Davinci Resolve, etc.)
- A keen eye for detail and a critical mind
- Creativity and passion in film and video editing
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
This position is based in Singapore, and while this is a non-travelling role, there may be occasional opportunities for overseas travel.
