As one of the most exciting integrated resorts in the world Marina Bay Sands Brand\'s creative output, photography and video content are its most powerful methods of telling our brand story. In this newly created role, we are looking expand the creativity, engagement & impact of our branded video content, and an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our multidisciplinary team.

As a hospitality brand operating at the highest levels of luxury & culture, we are looking for candidates who understand how video & content forms / styles are evolving at the cutting edge of culture, luxury, music, wellness, fashion, food, & art and is passionate to keep learning and developing the quality & breadth of their capabilities

As Editor, you will be responsible for working collaboratively on storyboarding, visual reference finding, editing and post-production of film & photography for internal and external purposes, as part of a wider, collaborative team

JOB SCOPE

• Work as an integral member of the creative content team, to ideate and develop beautiful storytelling assets - with a focus on short form video, sizzle reels, vibe films & observational photography to showcase the best MBS experiences, to be published on social & digital channels.
• Study scripts to become familiar with production concepts and requirements
• Work collaboratively to advise & shape the story sequences, music references and narrative arc of our branded video content
• Review raw material, B-rolls &/or concept boards to create a shot decision list based on scenes\' value and contribution to continuity
• Understand the internal and external value of raw and edited video clips and purposes such as corporate archives, Electronic Press Package, existing campaigns and Social Media content.
• Partner with producers in providing valuable ideas on the range of potential applications and uses for content & photography.
• Working closely with director/ line producer to maintain high production standards
• Be a confident ambassador of our team to senior stakeholders, capable of consulting with leaders across departments, originating ideas & executions as appropriate.
• Be a fierce brand guardian, ensuring that MBS\' products, services, experiences and content build consistent equity in the minds of our consumer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum qualification: Diploma in any media related field. Applicants with strong show reels who are self-taught will also be considered.
• At least 3-5 years of experience
• Good understanding and working proficiency of Adobe Creative Suite and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut)
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics authoring software & colour grading (After Effects & Davinci Resolve)
• Knowledge and working proficiency with special effects, 3D and compositing software is a plus
• Knowledge of online / offline production workflows & re-conformance of proxy to full-resolution footage
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Focused, organized and meticulous
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
• Curious, effective, independent and resourceful
• Detail-oriented and have the ability to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision
• A commitment to high-quality work and drive to improve self and others skills and knowledge
• Curious and resourceful in understanding industry best practices in encoding, video compression and conversions.
• Keep informed of latest technology trends and innovations
