• Mission of the Position: The VIE intern will be instrumental in conducting vision science experiments. The intern will work closely with our team of scientists to design, execute, and analyze these experiments.
• Essential Expected Results: The intern is expected to successfully carry out experiments, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the results. The intern is also expected to prepare reports and present findings to the team.
• Challenges of the Job: The job requires a strong understanding of vision science and experimental procedures. The intern must quickly adapt to the lab environment and learn to use specialized equipment. They may also face challenges in data analysis and interpretation.
• Main Success Factors: Success in this position would be marked by the intern\xe2\x80\x99s ability to conduct experiments effectively. Their ability to work well with the team, adapt to new challenges, and communicate their findings effectively will also be key indicators of success.

• AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

• Design and prepare vision science experiments independently.
• Collect and analyze data with various statistical methods.
• Familiar with Photometry, and electronics, related to light stimulation and head and eye movements recording
• Present the results within the company.
• Complete required regulatory training such as GCP training.

• KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently studying with \xc3\x89cole Centrale d\'\xc3\x89lectronique (ECE Paris; Electronics Engineering education)
• Analytical ability and passion, business oriented and used to work with Microsoft Excel
• Strong project management skills/ability to work on multiple topics concurrently under tight deadlines
• Reliable, autonomous, precise, good organization & communication skills
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Familiar with the following skills and software packages
• MATALB \xe2\x80\x93 Psychtoolbox, or
• Python \xe2\x80\x93 PsychoPy, and
• R \xe2\x80\x93 parametric and non-parametric, & multivariate analysis
• Electronics
