Key Scope:

Lead creative testing strategy, brand direction & advise product design. Oversee production standards and spur innovation in graphic, video direction. Introduce new creative tests and support systems building with the creative manager & copy lead.

Responsibilities:

Research:

  • Understand customer psychology (fears, pains, desires, beliefs, motivations etc), bring them into our advertising through visual avatars/models.
  • Study competitors/industry/beyond our industry to understand logic for their tests, formats, styles and recreate them for internal use.
SOP Creation:
  • Maintain & grow collateral/library, easy organisation and depth of knowledge, support with swipes/references training/ coaching if necessary.
  • Develop frameworks to visually communicate the differentiation/benefits for our line of products.
  • Create visual templates/briefs/tests/optimisation guides for new references, winning ad formats and iterations of them.
  • Tweak templates/references/ optimisations/cheat sheets in response to test results.
  • Create ready to go \xe2\x80\x9claunch kits\xe2\x80\x9d/playbooks we can use to quickly create ads/landing pages/labels/emails for new products.
Management, Production & Performance:
  • Work with designers and editors during final review of ad creatives before they launch.
  • Review test results with Media Buyers, Copy Lead & propose next course of action/iteration.
  • Improve internal creative capabilities with AI and other tools/platforms.
  • Lead hiring & management of new creatives (with stakeholder alignment).
Extendable Scope:
  • Set up capabilities and processes for internal in house production including directing photoshoots, video/30 sec commercials.
  • Support content creation/ partnership strategy amongst influencers, health experts and other partners.
Work Arrangement:
  • This is a Full time role.
  • We work 10 AM to 7 PM SGT(GMT+8) Monday to Friday.
What do we expect from the candidate:
  • 4+ years experience managing the creative testing for D2C e-commerce beauty or wellness brand.
  • Strong visual direction, ability to identify patterns, trends & develop innovative test ideas.
  • Quick at analysing and breaking down competitor ad psychology and modelling from core ideas.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong graphic design, package, and/or brand identity. Assessed on creative excellence, design system thinking, storytelling, typography and technical execution.
  • Highly empathetic, able to put yourself in someone else\xe2\x80\x99s shoes to see the world from another lens.
  • Values data & performance equally behind what is creative or aesthetic.
  • Has a ready to go playbook to start applying several new test ideas to any brand (statics, GIFs, video).
  • Self-starter, leader and ability to form great working relationships with peers.
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and advertising best practices.
  • Keen eye for detai.
  • Great at organisation, project management and documentation.
  • Highly skilled in Adobe Illustrator/InDesign and Photoshop to execute projects with excellence. Working knowledge or better of other Design software, such as After Effects, Premiere, Figma.
