The Vlocity Developer candidate is expected to have a solid understanding of basic Salesforce concepts and functionality. The candidate is a project team member or administrator who understands, builds and maintains the business rules of the Vlocity application, with knowledge on Vlocity Communications including CPQ and Order Management.Preferable for candidates, but not required, is to have knowledge, skills, and experience in building configure, price, quote applications on the Vlocity Communications application. It focuses on the fundamental features and functionality used during order capture, and the configuration and management of the shared catalog, pricing, promotions, and rules.
This individual must be able to provide technical expertise in large, complex environments and must have a track record of successful and reference-able customer projects or related work.Responsibilities:

• Understand the customer's business requirements, design, and configure the desired solution.
• Comfortable working with complex business requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data models, product models and configuration, product rules, user stories, business rules, etc.
• Deliver rapid, value-driven customer solutions for complex business problems.
• Determine the optimal use of the Vlocity product in the customer environment.
• Be able to breakdown the work into granular levels and engage with developers to support / lead them during the implementation.
• Responsible for turning the program design of our Solution Architects and Technical Architects into a configured solution that meets the customer's needs.
• Working predominantly in Agile scrum teams to build out complex business processes using native Vlocity technology and the toolkit of the Force.com platform.
• Involved in all phases of the project lifecycle - from low-level design and development through to deployment and post-production support.

Qualifications:

• Hands-on Vlocity project experience essential, preferably for Enterprise-scale implementations.
• Deep Vlocity product knowledge.
• Extensive experience of building solutions for telecommunications customers.

• Process modeling tools and best practices
• Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers or delivering a technical presentation

• Background in both agile and waterfall methodologies
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

Below are some requirements that are nice-to-have but are not required, base minimum for role:

• In-depth knowledge of telecommunications processes. Telecommunication industry experts who are passionate about digital transformation and customer experience.
• Strong knowledge of Vlocity CPQ and OM with Vlocity project experience.
• Shape the architectural vision and establish a program direction.
• Mentor customer resources and accelerate knowledge transfer to them.
• Advise and mentor diverse teams, which may include customer and partner resources providing guidance on application and integration development best practices as well as technical product assistance.
• Engage with the customer and review key artifacts to keep programs on track and ensure the delivered solutions remain extendable and maintainable going forward.
• Act as a champion in the wider Vlocity ecosystem, sharing best practices, lessons learned and time-saving techniques.

• Sizing and modelling Security considerations
• Technical Assurance across the end to end architecture
