Business Function:Group Strategic Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing and research to differentiate \xe2\x80\x93 and elevate \xe2\x80\x93 our brand from the rest of the competition.Job Purpose:DBS Bank, the first bank to hold three world\xe2\x80\x99s best bank titles at the same time, and the creator of the award-winning Sparks mini-series, is looking for a Content Strategist to join its Group Strategic Marketing & Communications (GSMC) team.A core member of GSMC\xe2\x80\x99s Content Team, the Content Strategist is responsible for conceptualising, designing and executing content marketing experiences across social media, websites and internal communications channels that shape perceptions about the brand.Well-versed in digital media production, with an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns are brought to life through storytelling from ideation, to publishing, to amplification, the Content Strategist will work closely with content team members, our dedicated in-house production studio as well as other GSMC teams like media relations, DBS Foundation or digital experience design.Responsibilities:

  • Design and conceptualise complex content marketing campaigns in partnership with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Ensure end-to-end integration of brand messaging with a wide range of transmedia content components that are distributed internally and externally, with minimal supervision under tight deadlines.
  • Tell engaging stories and be responsible for ongoing content series that run on a weekly publishing calendar.
  • Work closely with team to enhance editorial standards.
  • Improve comms infrastructure and stakeholder collaboration to deliver stories in more creative ways to customers and employees across the six regional markets.
  • Develop co-owned content IPs together with external partners and stakeholders.
  • You will be working closely with other teams within GSMC and the bank, crafting complex content marketing strategies that span across a wide range of comms touchpoints.
  • Delivering the right composition of editorial, creative and amplification components will be key to tell impactful stories about purpose, sustainability, and the future of finance.
  • Drive projects with an investigative journalist approach and a social-first treatment in order to produce weekly content formats with powerful storytelling that accelerates audience growth.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve content publishing processes and copywriting for social media and paid amplification assets.
  • Experienced in video/photo production, oversee production processes from an editorial point of view to ensure brand messages are communicated effectively.
  • Drive content innovation by finding ways to tell stories more creatively, explore and experiment with new communication tools, content formats and channels.
  • Ensuring quality and consistency in materials produced and published.
Requirements:
  • Diploma qualifications from polytechnics/ film & media/ advertising/marketing institutes. Candidates with degree in journalism or digital broadcast media a plus.
  • 5 -7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a news, broadcasting, publishing or other digital media. Newsroom experience or previous in-house content strategist role a plus.
  • Proven work experience and skills in end-to-end creative content production and online publishing - from ideation to amplification.
  • Content and/or project portfolio that showcases your copywriting style and ability to craft transmedia stories.
  • Understanding and use of data and research to inform a content strategies; serial format script writing experience a plus.
  • Passionate about and skilful in delivering engaging and relatable (audio-visual) storytelling through digital media that speaks directly to viewers/readers.
  • Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and occasionally at night, on weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills to motivate and work cooperatively with others, at all levels.
  • Creative and innovative, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability of being an exceptional team player, collaborating with multiple content owners and subject matter experts.
